Introduction to Assessment and Treatment of Voice Disorders

1. Identify and describe salient anatomy and physiology processes contributing to the audible voice of patients.
2. Identify and describe typical methods used to evaluate voice anatomy and physiology to inform about etiology and appropriateness of behavioral management by a voice specialist.
3. Identify and discuss key clinical features in those with functional, organic, and neurogenic etiologies of voice disorders that inform speech-language pathology behavioral management approaches.
