Position Description

Job Title: Physician Assistant (ENT Specialist)

Location: Plantation & Pembroke Pines, Florida

Reports To: Lead Physician (Dr. Carlos Torre)

Position Overview:
yENTi Group, a growing multi-location ENT and sleep medicine practice, is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant with experience in otolaryngology (ENT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Dr. Torre and independently in our clinics located in Plantation and Pembroke Pines. This role offers the opportunity to practice advanced ENT care, assist in sleep medicine procedures, and provide independent patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Care:

    • Provide comprehensive ENT care to patients independently and alongside Dr. Torre, managing a broad range of ENT conditions.
    • Perform diagnostic evaluations, including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and sinus imaging.
    • Manage treatment plans for conditions such as nasal obstruction, sinusitis, allergies, and sleep apnea.
    • Assist in in-office procedures, including nasal/sinus procedures, minor airway surgeries, and sleep apnea treatments (e.g., RF of the Vidian nerve, neurostimulation).
    • Provide pre- and post-operative care for ENT surgeries, including functional and cosmetic rhinoplasties.
  2. Patient Management:

    • Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups independently.
    • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Torre and other healthcare providers.
    • Provide patient education on treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care.
  3. Clinic Operations:

    • Work at the Pembroke Pines clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays and at the Plantation clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the possibility of expanding to additional locations.
    • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the clinic’s electronic medical records system.

Qualifications:

  • Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Florida.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in otolaryngology (ENT), sleep medicine experience is a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with ENT procedures, including nasal, sinus, and airway management.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
